Although not a native New Mexican, Storm has lived in the State for more than 50 years. College classes got her interested in art. After retirement she developed her technical and creative skills with Santa Fe Workshops, taking classes in Santa Fe, online, and internationally. She has been recognized with selections and awards in group shows and solo exhibits.

Artist Statement:
​"Sometimes as one is falling asleep, strange visions come to mind. With my current work, representing times when nothing quite makes sense, I am creating some of these visions to share with others. All are photographic composites created solely by me from my own original photographs. Creation often begins with a photo of a landscape or an object that speaks to me. Then, other ideas flow from that first photo. I enjoy the process of development as much as the final product."
