A storyteller by nature, Victoria Mauldin’s Contemporary Realism artwork includes traditional Western art, and an emerging series called “Imaginative Realism”.
Working primarily in acrylics, Mauldin’s paintings remain deeply rooted in the Southwest Culture as she provides a “close encounter with nature’s wonder and perfection”. The Imaginative Realism paintings stretch the boundaries of reality as we know it, and often go beyond story telling by evoking inquiry and interpretation from the viewer.

Cynthia Rowland graduated from Texas Tech University with a Graphic and Fine Art degree. She spent a dozen years in New York, where she founded a graphic design business. In 1993, she returned to New Mexico to pursue sculpture in cast bronze. Her commitment developed into both public and private commissioned works. By 2005, she had completed over 40 projects, including several large-scale sculptures, such as the award-winning Senator Dennis Chavez Memorial at Civic Plaza in Albuquerque, NM. Turning to painting, she developed a unique style and metaphor through close observation of her motifs - flowers, still-life, portraits, and figures. She has participated in several competitions, exhibitions, and galleries in Santa Fe and has exhibited in several museums in the US. Her work is in the collection of the Albuquerque Museum of Art. She has been instrumental in bringing the historic New Mexico Art League back to prominence. She has also served as the State Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America for five years.
"I enjoy the dual aspect of painting: combining a graphic sense of the two-dimensional plane with a three-dimensional illusion. Coming from a graphic design and sculpture background, I enjoy sculpting with paint, leaving the marks and the descriptions of the brushstrokes I am making. I am striving to understand better and communicate to the viewer what I observe: the space and shape of the canvas's surface and the space and form around the object in my painting."
Daniella Willett-Rabin was born in Madison, Wisconsin. During her formative years she had the opportunity to live in both Italy and Spain. She graduated from the visual arts high school, Escuela de Artes y Superior de Conservación y Restauración, in Salamanca, Spain in 1999. After graduation she pursued her love of percussion and studied drumming in both Los Angeles and Guinea, West Africa. Still drawn to the visual arts, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013.
ARTIST STATEMENT: “Painting is my passion and joy, and art for me is a celebration of life. My paintings have a bright and saturated palette because I like the freedom of not having any restrictions when it comes to color. My work is expressed through patterns in a decorative and playful manner. I try to incorporate movement, imagination and artistry in each of my pieces. The media I currently work in both oil and acrylic. The subject matter I reflect in my paintings embraces music, dance, nature, and architecture, all of which inspire me as an artist. These are the elements that bring me happiness in my day to day life and I hope I can share that joy and passion with others through my art.”
