T.L. (Timithy) Gordon developed an interest in art at a very early age and was encouraged by his family through out his life; especially by his mother, who was somewhat of an artist and crafter too.
I enjoy the whole experience of producing art. Working in several mediums just makes it more fun. Each medium has its own characteristics and learning them to accomplish the desired finished piece of art is gratifying. I don't restrict myself to any one subject matter. I believe exploring different subjects gives you more range, although I do tend to loving landscapes.I hope you find the art on my website enjoyable...Tim Gordon

I've always been an artist at heart. Living in the southwest United States I have always been intrigued by the lives of the peoples that have lived here before modern man came along. I hail from Farmington, New Mexico and a lot of my artwork is based on the prehistoric designs that I can walk out my back door and find on ancient pottery or as pictographs painted on rocks by the ancient peoples that are no longer here. I'm not just a painter though. I am also a microlithic architectural sculptor, my medium being the ancient sandstone found where I live. I create very detailed sculptures that resemble the ancient cliff dwellings and ruins that are found at world renowned archaeological sites throughout the Southwestern United States. I also do modern themed artwork. I am a self taught artist and have won many awards for my works. I hope you will enjoy my art as as much as I do creating it. Sincerely, Doug Miller

In 2007, after retiring from a long and successful career in the financial sector of a major engineering and construction company, he returned to his art specializing in oil painting while studying advanced painting at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico. He credits his former Art Instructor, Professor William V. Hatch, for restoring his desire to paint.
His first body of work that he calls the “Mountain Series” depicts dramatic landscapes found in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado where he enjoyed hunting and fishing as a boy. The results are beautiful scenic works of art that illustrate his unique style and skill with color and composition. In addition to his main body of work, he has completed a series of small paintings that he calls “Floral Designs” and recently began a new series called “Canyon Lands” featuring high desert scenes of the Southwest. He also paints other scenes of interest, including dramatic and colorful skyscapes. Curt and his wife Susan reside in Flora Vista, New Mexico.
