​There are components of my life in each piece I create and the longer I create art the more abstract my work becomes. While I do tend to include realistic elements in some of my pieces, I add degrees of abstraction to create a type of hybrid work. I am inspired by nature but don’t try to duplicate her. I enjoy working with water media yet continue to investigate different mediums, surfaces and techniques. Everything I create is in response to a certain emotion and my hope, in creating each piece, is to evoke a mutual response or connection from the viewer.
