Artist Statement: This group of paintings has been in the works for years! I have many paintings in storage that I still love but do not feel they would be shown in a gallery again as originally painted. Thus, I pulled many out and made them ‘better,’ bringing them up to date with my newer marks and emotions. Many of the pieces will have differing amounts of the original image showing…pentimento. Some are all new…those are the + in the title of this exhibition.
