​An Australian art critic and others convinced me to pursue art as a professional career, which I began in 2009. Soon after, I was inducted as a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society and have now been in numerous exhibitions at international, national, state and local levels.
​​Many of my paintings reflect a key facet of my art, a love affair with the Australian wilderness that dates back to the 1970’s, when I spent a year exploring the entire continent in an old Volkswagen van.
