While Bette’s work has always derived inspiration from the human form, the transition from glass work to painting, printmaking, and papercuts provids a certain linear context exemplified by clean vibrant shapes and often including window forms. Bette Yozell lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She works primarily in watercolors and gouache, with explorations in glass, etching, and various other media. She received her BS in art education from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Her work has been shown internationally. New Mexico artists are amazing!
