I am originally from the Philadelphia area. My husband and I moved to Eldorado at Santa Fe in 2012 after living in Phoenix for eighteen years. We love it here. I am a licensee of the Santa Fe Artists’ Market, member of the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association, Northern New Mexico Fine Arts and Crafts Guild. While In Phoenix, I started to develop my own process of Blended media called PhotoAlchemy. Not only is it a creative way to showcase my photographs, it represents many of my favorite art forms like quilting, mosaics, stained glass, ceramics. PhotoAlchemy is constantly evolving. I find new ways to use my images in different arrangements, using different surfaces and mixing with other textures. For the past several years, I have enjoyed meeting people from all over the world and helping them choose a piece for their spaces. Mosaics, to me, are a metaphor for one’s life. Each event, each person we meet, each experience is a piece. Every piece fits together to create the masterpiece which is a person’s entire life. I choose to play with a variety of media while incorporating two and three dimensional surfaces.... All of the pieces fit. New Mexico artists are amazing!
